Bernie’s Buddies is a Calgary-based registered charity that helps kids live again after a loss. Through unique, integrated workshops in a peer group environment, kids living with a loss can interact and support each other while engaging in creative activities available at each session. Activities include a therapy dog visit, movement and relaxation techniques, and creative grief conversation.
The workshops are available as stand-alone events or to complement existing programming with other youth-oriented service providers, adding community capacity to childhood bereavement supports.
