Home Care provides healthcare services for palliative patients and their caregivers. Services include medication management and teaching, symptom management, special equipment provisions, and caregiver respite. People may choose to die at home with support from home care if they have a doctor who agrees to care for them there, have an Alberta Health Care Insurance Plan or agree to pay the cost of care at home.
