AHPCA Welcomes Ian Bos in his Trek for End of Life Care – Alberta Event Schedule

September 20, 2015 Posted By Admin

ian bos

AHPCA is pleased to welcome Ian Bos to Alberta in his one-man trek across Canada to raise awareness for end of life care.

On May 21, 2015 Ian put on his shoes and began walking. His mission: to raise awareness and funds for end of life care in communities from Halifax to Vancouver.

It’s Ian’s second journey along this path. His father, Ted Bos passed away in hospice palliative care on January 16, 2015, and it’s in his memory that Ian is walking alone, with a tent, sleeping bag, and enough food for a 4- day stretch strapped to his back.  You can follow Ian’s route across Canada on his website.

2011_Dad and I copyIndividuals and groups across Canada have been touched by Ian’s passion about end of life care. Now, we have the opportunity to meet and support Ian in Alberta. Check out Ian’s event schedule to discover where you can meet this amazing advocate for hospice palliative care.
