Camrose: Walking the Wild Edge of Sorrow – A Grief Support Circle
May 8, 2018 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm$10 – $20
Is there anyone who is not touched by grief? By loss?
This monthly Circle is created for any and all who experience loss. The holidays can be an especially challenging time to sit with our grief, within a grief-phobic culture. Loss comes with living, and yet, we are often not prepared when the inevitable sorrow enters our story. Loss comes in so many forms; death, illness, divorce, betrayal, trauma, addiction, environmental trauma, losing a career, a dream, a knowing of what could have been…
In this Circle, your grief is welcome.
Gather together to explore the mysteries of sorrow, the knife edge of grief and the hidden folds of this difficult landscape. This Circle is co-created by the participants that attend – the only requirement is that you have experienced loss and wish to be supported and to support others on their Grief Journey. We will all begin our *Apprenticeship with Sorrow, together.
Fee: $10-20, or whatever is affordable to cover space and art materials
2018 Dates: January 16, February 13, March 13, April 10, May 8
Time: 7-9 pm
All forms of expression will be supported – visual art, writing, verbal sharing, etc. There is no requirement to commit to ongoing Circles – come when you can.
