Grief Recovery Method Support Group – Brooks

Grief is the normal and natural emotional response to loss but most of the information we’ve learned about dealing with loss is intellectual. Although this Grief Support Group involves some educational elements, effective Grief Recovery must deal with your broken heart, which requires emotional support instead of intellectual explanations.
This Grief Support Group provides a safe environment for you to look at your old beliefs about dealing with loss, which losses have affected your life and take actions that will lead you to completing unresolved emotions that may still be causing you pain.
It is an action-based group that involves reading and writing assignments outlined in The Grief Recovery Handbook – 20th Anniversary Expanded Edition.
It is not a drop in group and has an 8-week group format.
You will learn about all types of loss and you will chose what loss you want to focus upon.
The Grief Recovery Method is a scientifically tested Evidence Based Program with 40+ years experience, across multiple countries and languages, to help people heal from loss(es).
Group runs Thursdays: July 23, 30, August 6, 13, 20, 27, September 3, 10, 2020. Location will be provided to participants when they register.
We have all experienced so much grief lately and throughout our lifetime. This group will help you with your broken heart.
