Over the past 18 months medical assistance in dying has become legalized in Canada.
In June 2016 Alberta Health Services created a new department referred to as the MAID Care Team. Come and Learn more about how this department will offer services to patients who might wish to explore medical assistance in dying (MAID). Information about this new service is also available on the Alberta Health Services Website www.ahs.ca/MAID
