Lighting the Way … denotes a path or journey—for those who are ill and their caregivers, for those who have lost a loved one, and for the community as a sign of support for compassion and palliative care.
Lighting the Way offers an opportunity for the community to come together in support by illuminating the trees surrounding Foyer Lacombe Hospice. This beautiful display brings cheer during the festive season to families and residents of the hospice and long-term care facilities, while also being enjoyed by the entire community. It serves as a heartfelt acknowledgment of our caring and compassionate spirit.
From November 21st, 2024, to February 28th, 2025, the bulbs will light the trees surrounding Foyer Lacombe Hospice, which sits atop St. Albert’s Mission Hill. Hospice and long-term care residents, as well as the community at large, will once again enjoy the beauty of light during the darkness of winter.
We hope you can join us for our 5th Annual Lighting the Way evening event on Thursday, November 21st! We do not require registration for this event.
