Mindfulness Retreat – for Counselors, Therapists and Caregivers
In this highly experiential workshop participants will practice mindfulness, regulation skills and strategies meant to promote compassionate self-awareness and emotional balance as well as prevent burnout and compassion fatigue.
The ability to regulate one’s body and find balance in emotion, thought and physical health is at the core of healing and well-being. It is extremely important for caregivers to cultivate their own well-being and deepen their own practice of developing regulation skills. This ‘working retreat’ will assist participants in developing their own mindful practice and provide the opportunity to experience the effect of a deeper embodied presence and atunement with others.
