Build your capacity to support people who are sick, dying, caregiving and grieving by attending our virtual PalliLearn sessions this fall. PalliLearn is a series of short, interactive courses designed to develop your knowledge and confidence to offer meaningful support to the people in your community. The courses blend research findings with practical ways to put these into action.
Anyone with a personal or professional interest in supporting people with serious illnesses is invited to attend the first four sessions. If you’re a health professional with palliative care experience we invite you to cap off the series by attending our facilitator training session which will equip you to deliver the courses in your community.
Session 5: PalliLearn Facilitator Training | Thursday, Oct. 10, 9 am – 12 pm MT
Attendance at this session is only open to Alberta-based health professionals with palliative care experience who have attended the PalliLearn series and are committed to facilitating a PalliLearn course over the next year. Completing this training will give you access to PalliLearn facilitator resources. Attendance at this session will be capped at 15 participants.
