PalliLearn session 3: How to Have Conversations about Dying and Grief

February 6, 2024 @ 12:00 pm - 1:15 pm

Free

PalliLearn is a series of short, interactive public education courses that help people develop the knowledge and confidence to offer meaningful support to family, friends and community members experiencing serious illness, death and grief. Alberta health professionals with palliative care experience interested in training as PalliLearn facilitators, and organizations interested in hosting these courses, are invited to join this series.

This session – How to Have Conversations about Dying and Grief – explore why it’s important to talk about dying and grief and how to have caring and compassionate conversations on these topics with friends, family, co-workers and neighbours.

PalliLearn course material was developed for use in Alberta by the Covenant Health Palliative Institute in collaboration with Palliative Care South Australia.

This a virtual series. More information is available at: https://compassionatealberta.ca/echo-hub
