Hospice – Red Deer Hospice

March 15, 2013 Posted By Admin

This residential hospice has 16 beds.

The Red Deer Hospice is a home for the terminally ill and provides a quiet and caring environment for individuals who are at the end of life’s journey, a home away from home. Located in the quiet area of Anders on the Lake with the beautiful Memorial Gardens across the street, the Hospice has 16 comfortably appointed individual resident rooms with a hospital bed and a living-room style seating area with a pull-out couch, chairs, and television with cable.  The rest of the house includes a kitchen, multiple family sitting areas and a sanctuary, along with multi-purpose rooms for respite care, education opportunities and day programs. Professional nursing care is provided 24 hours a day as well as companionship, bereavement and spiritual support.

Address: 99 Arnot Avenue, Red Deer, Alberta T4R 3S6
