A Conference Connecting Hospice Palliative Care Communities in Alberta
AHPCA continues to support Albertans in the effort to create compassionate communities. If you are a member of your local palliative care society or if your community is trying to establish a group, AHPCA invites you send two or more representatives to the Imagine 2019 Conference.

The Good, The Bad and the Creative: Dying at Home
What can your community do to support families and patients?
Dying at home is a common expectation for patients. Morning keynote speaker, Sarah Walker, retired Hospice Calgary Executive Director, will discuss creating community partnerships to help facilitate this goal. After lunch, you will learn about creative strategies different communities are using and have a chance to discuss ideas in-depth.
You will go home with concrete ideas to try in your own community.
