Topic: The pandemic has shaken our cultural myth of a “good death”: a pain-free, peaceful death surrounded by loved ones. Blair Collins, Grief Counsellor, invites you to reflect on your own myth and how the pandemic has impacted your ability to journey with someone at the end of life.
Presenter: Blair Collins, BA, B.Th., RSW, has over 30 years of experience working in a variety of not-for-profit settings, with expertise in the areas of crisis intervention, addictions, domestic violence, prostitution and sexual abuse, grief and loss and LGBT issues including HIV and AIDS. During his career he has facilitated hundreds of workshops and retreats on a variety of topics and issues. Blair presently enjoys working with people as a Provincial Marriage Commissioner in the Province of Alberta, Canada, while maintaining a personal coaching practice along with the delivery of workshops and retreats.
Blair will be co-presenting with Darrin Parkin, Spiritual Care Clinician.
