Presenter Biography:
Bonnie Schroeder, MSW, RSW, is an independent consultant who works with health and social service agencies who support seniors and their caregivers. She is also the Executive Director of the CCSMH and a Part-time Professor at the University of Ottawa, Faculty of Social Sciences (Gerontology Minor). Prior to consulting, Bonnie was the National Director of Caregiving at VON Canada where she supported the caregiving program, research and policy agenda (2008-2013). She comes from a long line of caregivers and watched her mother caring for her ageing and ailing parents and a foster son with disabilities during her formative years.
